2.After taking the stones out- setting the level with string just above the bastards (the big stones at the bottom.)

3.level and some middling (the small stones in the middle).

4. Build the wall, trying to keep a flat face facing up and one facing outwards. There are basically two sides of the wall with middling in between.

Use through stones (wide flat stones that will reach through both sides of the wall) towards the bottom of the wall to knit the seperate sides of the wall together..

7. Finish the wall add coping stones on top, lying on their side and covering both sides of the wall.
